We are created in the image and likeness of God, to live a purposeful life. God’s plan for us is to prosper, not to suffer. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) says: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Nobody is created to be poor. No one is born to be useless. No one is created to suffer, or beg to survive. God has blessed everyone with knowledge to acquire skills, He has gifted us with spiritual gifts, and He has blessed us with natural talents (like in the parable of the master, and his servants with different talents in Matthew 25:14-30) to fulfill purposes, and to make wealth.
In life, few utilize their talents, few acquire new skills, and as believers in Christ, we possess spiritual gifts, while many disregard all these, and remain beggars, and slaves, till death. Suffering and poverty is not the plan of God for any man. It’s the wish of the Devil to see men and women suffer, waste their life and perish in hell. The Book of John 10:10 teaches that the Devil has come to steal, kill and destroy many glorious destinies.
The parable of Jesus teaches that at the end of days, everyone will appear before the master (GOD), and give account of his or her talents, and those who fail to use theirs, will be chased away, and casted into the lake of fire forever.
God hates wastage, dislikes laziness and excuses. The man in the parable, who was given one talent was ignorant, he buried it (he died with his talent) and on judgment day, he gave excuses. He was disgraced and casted into the lake of fire, for wasting his God’s given talent. Ignorance is not an excuse; Don’t take your talents for granted, don’t waste God’s gifts in you.
Everyone have talents, we can learn new skills (handiwork), and we can pray for spiritual gifts from God to further help our calling (gifts of healing, prophecy, interpretation of dreams, and more).
On the last day, may we not be victim of God’s anger. Amen! Hope this was helpful? God prosper you, as you read and obey God’s word sincerely.

Privileged to minister to youths and teenagers yesterday, dishing out the differences between natural talents, acquired skills and spiritual gifts. I believe we can learn from this also, as sons and daughters of God, and youths of this generation.
